Kenny Larabee is a freelance video editor and graphic designer based in Lincoln, Neb. But don’t let that be the extent of what you think his abilities are. When you hire Kenny, you’re hiring a freelancer with an incredibly deep and well-rounded skill set.

While studying journalism and political science at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo., Kenny wrote for both the university’s and city’s newspapers (covering city/state government and sports) before earning his undergraduate degree. He still lists writing as his strongest skill. In addition to freelancing, Kenny’s day job as the digital director at Broadcast House Media requires him to maintain the websites of five different radio stations. You might also spot him taking photos at Nebraska Cornhusker athletic events for KLIN 1400 AM.

Originally from Lincoln, Kenny also spent a few decades living in Iowa (specifically, Clarinda, just a short drive east from Lincoln on Highway 2). He lived and worked in Japan for nine months, teaching Japanese children English as a Second Language. He also has a decade of manufacturing experience under his belt.

The things that Kenny does for fun are pretty much featured throughout this website. And that’s what makes him stand out above the rest. Because these days, when Kenny gets out of bed, he’s excited to start the day. He’s excited to create something new and to help strengthen the communities in which he grew up in.
